Masterpieces of Claude Monet brought to life in immersive exhibit

Witness the masterpieces of Claude Monet’s and other artists from the Impressionist era come to life through a stunning combination of light and sound at the BGC Arts Center in Taguig City.

"Monet and Friends Alive" is a multi-sensory immersive experience in a two-room gallery, where guests can enjoy the larger-than-life digital canvases set to a classical score, as well as take photos and videos.

“It is more immersive. It is a different experience. It was a good experience, nakaka-inspire," Justine, an art enthusiast, said.

The 360-degree exhibit seeks to indulge the senses of visitors with the sights, sounds, and even scents of 19th century Europe through the eyes of Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, and more.

In the introduction hall, for instance, visitors can learn more about the featured artists and how they pushed the evolution of the art movement.

The exhibit will also immerse guests in the recreated real-life garden of Monet in France as they step into an enchanting room adorned with rows of mirrors, leaves, blooms, and the alluring scent of flowers, indulging their senses in a captivating experience.

Guests can also step into a picture perfect recreation of the Japanese footbridge Monet built for his water-lily garden at the end of the exhibit.

Since art is meant to be a living testimony of how life has been lived for milllennia, as proven by the immersive exhibit, all guests are encouraged to likewise to pick up a brush and express themselves, may it be their struggle, triumphs, and dreams on a blank canvas in one of the studios.
