A rare painting by Anita Magsaysay-Ho will go under the hammer at Salcedo Auctions' upcoming sale.

"Finer Pursuits: Important Philippine Art and Rare Collectibles" will be held starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. Part of the live and online auction is Magsaysay-Ho's rare 1953 egg tempera painting, a book piece that shows her cubist leanings.

She depicts her subject, a woman wearing a shawl, staring in the distance, with African daisies in the background.
