New shows to catch—Angel Locsin’s docu reality show, Judy Ann Santos’ public service program, and the award-winning K drama ‘The World of a Married Couple’

Switch on your devices because ABS-CBN programs finally return on air starting today, June 13, via cable and satellite TVs on the Kapamilya Channel.

This comes after the three-month halt due to the coronavirus lockdown and a month after the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) imposed a shutdown on the station’s TV and radio broadcast in lieu of the network’s franchise renewal. 

The Kapamilya Channel weekend begins with masses at 5:30 am on Saturday and 6 am on Sunday. 

Better wake up the kids early because ABS-CBN’s educational shows are back—Epol Apple, Sineskwela, Bayani, Hiraya Manawari on Saturday, and Wikhaharian, Mathdali, Bayani, Hiraya Manawari on Sunday.

If you’ve been missing your workouts due to the lockdown, it’s time to get back on track with Coach Jim and Toni Saret’s Team FitFil every 7:40 am on Saturday and 8:40 A.M. on Sunday. 

The Saturday programming is followed by KB Family Weekend Back-to-BackIt’s Showtime, Kuha Mo (Rewind), SOCO (Rewind), and Kapamilya Action Sabado

The public service program Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan hosted by Judy Ann Santos, which highlights kindness among Filipinos, debuts at 6:45 P.M. To be featured on its first episode are COVID-19 survivor Iza Calzado and the people she has utmost gratitude for. 

This will be followed by The Voice Teens, the Best of MMKSuper Kapamilya BlockbustersKB Family Weekend, and Movie Central Presents.

The Sunday lineup is comprised of G-DiariesKB Family Weekend and the star-studded ASAP Natin ‘To, followed by fresh episodes of the legal drama series Ipaglaban MoFPJ: The King, and Starla (Rewind)

Shining the light on Pinoy bayanihan and malasakit is Angel Locsin’s docu reality show Iba Yan at 6:15 P.M., followed by The Voice TeensKapamilya Blockbusters, and Sunday’s Best.

Weekday mornings kick off with back-to-back daily morning rituals Kapamilya Daily Mass, Teleradyo, and Magandang Buhay.

The family drama Love Thy Woman and the military series A Soldier's Heart return at 2:30 P.M. and 3:15 P.M. on weekdays, respectively.

Popular K-dramas join the weekday programs— Familiar Wife at 9:30 am, and The World of a Married Couple at 8:45 P.M.

TV Patrol, ABS-CBN's flagship newscast, while not included in Kapamilya Channel's programming, will remain to be seen on ANC, Teleradyo, Cinemo, TFC, and online (ABS-CBN News on Facebook and YouTube, news.abs-cbn.com, and iwant.ph).

Kapamilya Channel is a 24-hour channel which will air programs produced and acquired by ABS-CBN. It is available starting today, June 13, on SKY (Ch. 8 on SD, Ch. 167 on HD), Cablelink (Ch. 8), G Sat (Ch. 2), and most member-cable operators of the Philippine Cable Television Association nationwide.
