Makati's beloved Indian restaurant Swagat has embarked on a new chapter, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a stunning upgrade in Makati City.

Located at the RCI Building along Rada St. in Legazpi Village, the new Swagat boasts a more modern look while staying true to its authentic home-style Indian cuisine.

Swagat's dedication to quality and authenticity has earned it consistent recognition, having been listed among Metro Manila's top dining destinations over the years. With its recent upgrade, Swagat is poised to continue its legacy of delighting diners with a memorable Indian culinary experience.

Stepping into Swagat is like stepping into India itself. The vibrant interiors, inspired by the hues of Indian spices and local elements, transport diners to a world of cultural immersion. From the carefully sourced dining implements and cutlery to the aromatic spices wafting from the kitchen, every detail is meticulously crafted to create an unforgettable experience.

The revamped menu offers a streamlined selection of dishes that represent the best of South Asian cuisine. Diners can embark on a flavorful adventure with individual appetizers, kebabs, or diverse platters like the vegetarian starter or the chaat platter, a street food sampler from major Indian cities.

For the main course, the options are plentiful. Meat lovers can indulge in the non-vegetarian tandoor platter, while seafood enthusiasts can savor fragrant biryani dishes. Vegetarians and those seeking halal options will find a delightful selection of curries, dals, and paneer dishes.

No Indian meal is complete without dessert. Swagat's signature Komal ki Kulfi, a homemade popsicle named after the owner, Komal Khanchandani, offers a refreshing and authentic finale.

A new recognizable section of the resto is the bar which concocts the usual Indian beverages, refreshing mocktails, signature cocktails, and sought-after spirits.

As she says, "With our new store, we want Filipinos to continue experiencing a new level of cultural and healthy gastronomic adventure into the heart of Incredible India. At Swagat, we are honored to have you."
