Former Miss Grand Philippines and Fridays Boracay chief operating officer Samantha Panlilio recently launched an initiative in collaboration with the Boracay municipal government to assist families adversely affected by the recent fire incidents in Sitio Pinaungon last December 2023 and Vargas Compounds in January 2024 that impacted a total of 76 households.

The resort, which is currently closed to the public for renovations, has committed in contributing to the immediate relief efforts by pledging various items held in stock, including assorted linens and towels, 10 televisions, and 40 mini refrigerators.

These items are intended to be utilized by those affected by the fires and to aid in the recovery process.

Fridays Boracay is set to re-open sometime in 2026 but remains steadfast in its commitment to support the local community of Boracay in collaboration with the municipality of Malay, Aklan.
