After ‘extensive refurbishment,’ Conrad Singapore Orchard ready to welcome guest stays by New Year

 Tourists planning to visit Singapore next year can look forward to a luxurious stay at the Conrad Singapore Orchard starting January 1, 2024. The good thing is you can start booking your reservations as early as now. 

Formerly Regent Singapore, the hotel underwent rebranding and renovations under Hilton’s Conrad brand beginning early this year. The hotel stands as an urban oasis along vibrant Orchard Road with its stunning 12-story atrium, originally designed in the '80s by American architect John Portman Jr., best known for his signature modern hotel atrium concepts. Its stunning architecture is complemented by the sculptures that adorn the hotel, including Stephanie Scuris’ visually captivating Harmony Fountain at the entrance and Michio Ihara's dazzling Singapore Shower.

The hotel’s dining establishments are now open, except for Michelin-starred Summer Palace, which is still currently closed for renovation. Epicureans can look forward to authentic Italian fare at Basilico and Dolcetto, the Tea Lounge for afternoon teas, and global cocktail institution Manhattan, a regular contender on Asia’s and the World’s 50 Best Bars. The hotel’s elevated dining experiences extend to the new contemporary Japanese restaurant Shoukouwa Shinjidai, Park90, Seoul, Tenshin, and The House Bar. 

Conrad Singapore Orchard has 445 well-appointed rooms, including 46 spacious suites with large terraces. Amenities include a pet-friendly program, a relaxing executive lounge, a fully equipped fitness center, and an outdoor pool surrounded by lush gardens. 

The hotel also provides a magnificent setting for large-scale events and intimate celebrations. Its 14 venues for weddings, events and meetings are being renovated in anticipation of bookings from Q4 2023 onwards. 

The hotel is within walking distance of subway stations with connections to Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and Singapore Botanic Gardens, and within a half-hour's drive from Singapore Changi Airport.
